About the Field Trip Scholarship Program

The best place to bring your class for a field trip is certainly the Orr Family Farm! Students can enjoy a day of educational entertainment exploring the Farm, playing games and engaging in exciting learning opportunities! The Orr Family Farm offers field trip scholarships during the spring and fall seasons. The Farm is offering two spring field trip scholarships for the spring season. Each class will receive free Farm admission for 50 students and five teachers for a field trip to be booked on a Thursday or Friday between April 2 and May 15, 2020.

 

Spring Field Trips

During spring field trips, students can experience “Farm to Table” in the Discovery Barn, a hands-on learning experience teaching farm to table concepts through interactive activities, plus milking techniques and all about Farm equipment, past and present.

 

Fall Field Trips

During fall field trips, students can enjoy a fun and educational experience that includes a hay ride to the pumpkin patch with lesson boards on the “The Life Cycle of a Pumpkin!” and receive a free Sugar Pie Pumpkin!

 

Applications for spring field trip scholarships will be accepted through March 6 and winners will be announced March 10. Apply for your chance to win by submitting the form below!
