–Fall Field Trips
Learning About Pumpkins
From September 20 thru November 7, special pumpkin-themed field trips will be offered on Tuesdays through Fridays, 9:30-11:45am and 11:45am-2:00pm.
The lesson on the pumpkin will center around the unforgettable character, Spookley, the Square Pumpkin. The Farm plans to donate copies of a book about Spookley to school libraries. As the farm dealer for Spookley merchandise in central Oklahoma, the Farm will have books and DVDs for sale.
Students will go on a hayride around the farm. The hayride will stop at the pumpkin patch to let sutdents pick their very own Sugar Pie pumpkins.
Next stop is the Animal Barn where children can pet the farm animals. Wilbur, the pot bellied pig, loves to have her back scratched. Lucille, a solid white ewe lamb, Sara and Billy, the goats, Thumper and his clan of bunnies, just love to be petted.(Hand-washing stations are provided.)
Guest may bring their own lunches to eat in the picnic area. We also have an open concession to purchase lunch.
